Applications are invited from highly motivated students for admission to the Integrated Ph. D. programme (IPhD) of Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram (IISER TVM) in the Schools of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics for the session starting from August 2023, i.e., Varsha 2023 semester. Candidates are required to apply through the online portal only. The online application portal will be open from 28 March 2023 at ( http://appserv.iisertvm.ac.in/iphd/index.php/applicant/register/6 ).
The portals will remain open till 22-May-2023 11:59 PM. The tentative interview date for NBHM Candidates are 12-13 June 2023
General Eligibility Criteria
(For school specific eligibility criteria see the tables below)
- Bachelor's degree in the relevant area with a minimum of 55% marks (or a CGPA of 6.0 on a 10-point scale) for General/OBC-NCL candidates and a minimum of 50% marks (or a CGPA of 5.5 on a 10-point scale) for SC/ST and PwD candidates.

AND The applicant should have qualified in JAM PH 2023 or JEST 2023 (Physics) |

Candidates shortlisted from JAM CY 2023 stream will appear for one interview. Candidates shortlisted from NON-JAM CY 2023 stream, will appear online written test followed by interviews. |
| Mathematical Sciences | Applicants satisfying the above eligibility criteria will be subject to further shortlisting. The shortlisted candidates will be called for online interview(s). |
| Physical Sciences | The shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend interview(s) conducted in hybrid mode. |

General Information and Application Procedure

Students appearing in the final year Bachelor degree examination are also eligible to apply. However, if selected, their admission will be subjected to fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria for the individual school.

Applicants should complete the online application form at the following URL: http://appserv.iisertvm.ac.in/iphd/index.php/applicant/register/6 . Only online applications are accepted.

Applicants will also be prompted to upload necessary supporting documents, like photograph, proof of date of birth, mark sheet/grade transcript, community certificate etc. in JPEG format only. On submission of the online application form, the applicants will receive an acknowledgement email with an application number.

Candidates who wish to apply to individual/different schools through different streams (JGEEBILS, JAM) need to fill separate application forms, and separate fee has to be paid for each application.

Mere fulfilment of the eligibility criteria does not entitle a candidate to be called for the interview.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited for interview(s) at IISER TVM.

Normal relaxation to the eligibility criteria for SC/ST, OBC, PWD, EWS and other reserved categories will be applicable as per Government of India guidelines.
